Just acquired a E Neptuno with scorpion motor and ice2 80. Don't have the time (comp is 2 weeks away) and the dough to experiment on which prop to use for this set up. Hoping somebody could help me decide with the same set up or at least the same motor. I'm thinking falcon V2 21x14 or 20.5x14.5 but heard that with these diameter I'd be asking too much from the scorpion motor. Your inputs will be highly appreciated since Im also newbie to electric flight.

Forgot to mention that from where I'm located, most of the year winds are generally strong. It would be nice if you guys can suggest 2 prop size. One for calm days and one for windy days. But if there's a prop size in between that could handle both situation the better it is. This is for P13 schedule. Thanks.

Yes, a 20.5 x 14 would work great and that would be about the biggest prop the Scorpion motor can take, in my experience. An APC 20x15 would work also and you can always trim the 20.5 x 14 to 20x14. These should all work for windy days.

The data sheet says the Scorpion F3A motor is 220kv. Here is link to the data chart. It appears this motor is intended for smaller props than we are running on typical outrunners in pattern.
