Default RE: HACKER A 60-7S V2

Look through the posts and you will find several blogs about the motor.

I am using it in my Black Magic VF3 for FAI and it has "plenty" of power for a 10.68 lbs aircraft. The motor is as strong as my Pletty EVO 30-10 (installed in my other VF3), maybe a bit stronger. I am running a 20.5x14 and I pull 68 Amps max. at 6348 RPM or so, on fresh 25C/5000 zippy Compact packs. The motor temperature averages about 109 degrees F. and peaks at about 134, if I torque roll some. I am going to try a 20x12W and see if I like that a bit better on the draggy VF3 airframe.

All-in-all,..it is a great value, so far.
