Spare nylon wing bolts - where? (for Sebart MythoS Pro)
Hi,
I have been looking for some time for spare nylon wing bolts for my Sebart MythoS Pro.
So far without success.
It is close to (but not exactly) metric M6 thread, I suppose it is UNC threads.
I took a photo of one of the two nylon wing bolts I have, what is the dimension (threads) I must be looking for?
If anyone have a link to some website that sell this type of nylon wing bolt it would be great. Thanks.
/Bo

SAE: count number of threads per inch (1/4-20 has 20 threads per inch, for example)
Metric: measure space between threads (M5x.50 has 0.50 mm between threads).
Metric sizes have half sizes, so it could be M5.5 or something.
Edit: I would have assumed they were metric, but looking closely at the pic they look like SAE threads. Tough to tell.
I have these, I can measure them tomorrow for you, but these look like a finer thread:

Deleted ! Was not aware of your location. U can use plastic bolts from most plumbing departments at hardware stores. I can measure the one on my Wind S later today and give you the thread pitch plus thickness...

Major Dia = 0.22-0.23 (5.25-5.80mm)
Minor Dia = 0.19-0.20 (5.0-5.4mm)
Threaded length = 0.92 (23mm)
Length of major dia = 1.09 (27.8mm)
There are about 24 total number of threads (I don't know how to count in metric )
I have one of the 30cc airplanes from that site. SDS hobby sells the same airplanes. They seem to carry the wing bolts too and actually list the size. I thought it might be better to try somewhere not in the US?
