Default Hobbyking 1.5m practice pattern plane?

https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/...00mm_ARF_.html

Looks like a BJCraft Monolog clone dressed a bit like a Sebart Wind 110?

Added to the other Hobbyking " pattern " planes the Mellizo (Sebart Miss Wimd bipe look alike) and the Airoso

They definitely 'borrowed' a few lines and paint stripes from the Wind 110, but I'd say that's the only similarity. It looks like a pattern plane but doesn't seem to do much for me.

Tower Hobbies has a few new pattern planes - the Sequence (larger version out now) as well as a few sizes of the Apollo.

I think the Monolog 70 is no longer in production from BJCraft.
perhaps the same factory that built it for BJCraft decided to "retool" and sell the plane for Hobbyking ?

There are definitely some similarities:

There's another thread on RCG on the HK 1.6m. My bet is whatever factory was making the (discontinued) BJ Craft Monolog 70 just took the tooling for it and started making it for HK with a different color scheme. I don't know how these Chinese factories work and if anyone enforces licensing over there. Being that HK sells both genuine iMax B6 chargers and copy iMax B6 chargers in the same eStore, I get the impression that some of these Chinese companies just manufacture / sell whatever they can get their hands on and get away with.

Boys,
do you think that this plane is too much expensive?
