I never get on the pattern forum but do fly full scale. There's a light sport aircraft called the CTLS made by Flight Design out of Germany and built in the Ukraine. It is the #1 selling of the light sport aircraft. They've filed for bankruptcy and a company named AeroJones from Taiwan has taken over the rights and production of this series of LSA. It is rumored that Oxai, due to their extremely high quality building skills, was tapped by AJ to help with getting the CT back to flying status. There's a great backlog of orders and who better to use than Oxai to get it back up and running? NOTE: totally rumor but has been mentioned several times in our CT full scale forums.

Interesting information and a great business opportunity for Oxai. Probably not good for the pattern community, though.

$272,000 USD !!!!

And I though my Oxai plane wasn't cheap??? Wouldn't it be weird if 100 years down the track they were like Boeing or Airbus and people were finding old airframes hidden in a corner of Grandad's shed from a time when Oxai used to make toy airplanes...
