The plane us sold by Morris Hobby in Japan (very nice to deal with BTW); I saw it this weekend

The kit is on sale at rcjapan.net - It seems like a reasonable price to me for an F3A model at (Y119,000) $1,060 plus shipping. And you wouldn't be flying something that everyone else is flying, at least here in the US. Finishing it in paint and covering would be a good challenge for me though!

The 2 meter version has been available for a while (a few months) they more recently released the '70' sized version of the Neo Stage as well, a bit pricier that the 2 meter version (almost $500 for the CF version). They are very nice, well engineered kits. The 'Stage' design has evolved over 3 iterations (that were kitted any way). I have built a Stage 90 and have a Super Stage kit.

One option does exist is BJ Craft Etude with no paint, no covering (ARC). It's on sale at F3A Unlimted for $1,249.00
