Default Servos for F3A

Hi all, I need to buy 6 servos for my next plane and the best are probably Futaba BLS173sv but they are expensive. Has anyone found a good alternative at a cheaper price or is it false economy. Surely there must be good alternatives out there.

Do you have good supply of MKS in Ireland? The 69HV and 767HV are excellent. Downward on the price scale, KST have some good options.

Hans S, awesome servo testing results. Will certainly save that as it deserves careful study. Big_G, I concur, those are my MKS choices as well. A friend is even running HV69 on a large rudder surface and says it is working very well.

Another good futaba option is the 9670 servo. It is a Sbus2 version of the 9650 as well as being High Voltage. I really like these servos on the wing of my bipes.

If you are looking at Futaba servos, rcjapan.net is a good supplier with good prices and shipping

Those servos fron rcjapan are cheap but when you then add postage and import duty etc they are similar price in Europe.
