Hello Everyone,
I am looking for recommendations for a Lipo battery charger. I would prefer 2S - 10s capability, but I will normally be charging 8S - 10S flight packs.
Thanks in advance,
T. Walker

I would recommend looking at the Junsi iCharger x12
https://www.progressiverc.com/products/icharger-x12
(same family as X6, X8)
I have two X12 (for 10s packs) running on 48V and an X8 with MPA4 parallel board for everything else.
With Revolectrix out of business the 10XP is NPT really an option going forward.

Which balancing board did you order?
I had assumed that since you were looking for a 10s charger you’d be charging the 2 packs in series and thus avoiding the concern some folks have with parallel charhung
Are you also planning on charging 2 10s packs in parallel off one charger?
My setup is 2 X12 chargers… a dedicated x12 charger per 10s pack. No balance board needed, just a balance adapter cable that puts 2 5s (XH) balance connectors in series to one 10s XH balance connector to the charger.
I made the XH cable myself but I think you can buy it already wired… I forget where I saw it online
Let me know if I can help with anything else.

To answer your questions:
1. The balancing board that I will use is a 12S JST-XH Balance Board (Progressive RC SKU: AC-JXH12).
2. I will be charging 2 5S batteries in a series which is of course a 10S pack.
3. I will not be charging 2 10S packs in parallel.
4. I may buy another x12 in the future. I will see how I like the x12.
Thank you for this information, it was helpful.

If you’re interested in data logging and review, an alternative to the SD card in the charger is here
https://www.nongnu.org/dataexplorer/index.htm
ISDT is supposed to have a new 10S or higher charger, but I am not impressed with early isdt chargers and accuracy.

Just for completeness for the thread, I did find this 10s charger from Chargery…
chargery model power, specially design the balance charger built in the cell balancer for lipo battery packs applied to R/C model

I want to thank everyone for their recommendations. I decided to purchase an iCharger x12 (from Progressive RC). It arrived yesterday and I soldered the input (power) and output (charge) connections. I am currently testing it for charge and storage on an 8S pack (2 Zippy 4S 4500 in a series). I think that in the future the iCharger 4010 DUO will be the best option for charging 2 10S packs.
It appears with Cell Pro out of business that this is the only option that we have for charging our larger 10S packs.
