Default Hacker Brake

Can anyone who is familiar with the Hacker speed controller tell me how thebrake operates, I take off with a slow idle and fly the schedule without touching my idle trim, however from what I am reading the brake only activates when there is no idle, is that correct?

Thanks

It works only when there is no idle. Also there is no need for idle..

The brake is activated below idle, so just use you throttle cut switch to activate it. As far as an idle not needed... [sm=confused.gif] but everyone flies differently. Just trying to understand how to make a nice stall turn with the prop stopped.
