Default outrunner mount

I saw this picture on a Japanese site for a unique outrunner mount. It uses both rear support and front support and is a beam mount. I thought it might spark some thoughts with the manufacturers out there. Seems like a really great way to go, but it definitely adds weight.

Here are more pictures of the unit. This one is on a 110 sized motor.

I reviewed this site http://www.hobbynet-jp.com/eclipse/e...e110-assy.html and it looks like they ended up dumping the rubber isolators and going with a rigid rear mount. Maybe they weren't beefy enough for the application. However, the front bearing mount looks neat. This site also shows a much simpler front and rear mount which are not bearing supported. that would probably work well also.

Looks good to me Steve. That is a really good way to mount an outrunner.
