Got the Prolog done a couple of week ago, and it a great flying plane. First flight took the basic trim and small mix on down elev to low idle.
Heres the wieght final ready to fly 4749grams.
Break down

Fuse 2676 ( Pletty 30-10, Castle ice 80, arming plug,volt reg.,rx switch,trutrun spinner ,Rasa prop,and all servoext, rudder servo,ect)
rh wing 393g (Jr 8411 servo with 6 in ext)
lh wing 390g "
wing tube 60g
sub total 3519g

rx battery 40g 800ma
10s pac 1190g
Total 4749g

I use standard hardware didn't go out looking to save any wieght. Use Jr's 8411 servo on rudder and wings,3421 on the evl.
Plane was easy to built. Rolls with this plane are effortlessly, had an FAI pilot fly it and he said that he could fly p13 as it was set up.
I will ahve some pictures latter on of set up.

Hi,
Can you compare the Prolog and the Nuance a little? Is all the hardware good and usable? What isn't included that is required for completion?

The Prolog has the same hardware package as the Nuance meaning wheels, tailwheeel assy, control horns, ball links and steel pushrods. There are only ball links at one end and Z bends at the other end. Most guys are either swapping the rods for turnbuckles or removing the Z bends and soldering some threaded ends on and using another ball link or a clevis at the servo arm side. I will post some close up pics of JR's Prolog pushrod setup later today.

Sorry that I haven't reply we have been busy running a contaest he at Harrisonburg Va. I'll try to get some infor out on the plane for you. As Chris stated the changes that I did to plane so for are the tail wheel (mk) and the rods. On the rudder sevro I use on of JR's servo tray , It was a lot easier to use. I have the template for the firewall and I pass it on to F3A ,incase someone needs it.

Linkage that was use Seacrest hardware from F34 Unlimited.
elv. likage rod 60mm servo arm 20-25mm
rudder 120 my servo arm come out 145mm from rear end of fuse to center of servo arm (servo arm 1in long)
air 80mm servo arm 20-25mm
the CG calls for 260mm from rear corner of canopy base with a range of 10mm less or plus 30mm. I end up at 305mm or just forward of wing tube.
Battery tray end up with two inch of the tray forward of land gear .

Just got back from the 22nd Annual Pocono Pattern contest. Thanks Joe! Perfect weather, lots of fun, only trouble was a strange magnetic pull that kept drawing the junior flyers planes awfully close to the pits, but Joe assured us he'd check it out and see if he couldn't fix that next year :D Seriously though, I just wanted to note that JR won Intermediate ahh -gaaaain with his Prolog (move up already ;) ) and that the Prolog is truly an amazing plane (of course it didn't hurt that the pilot was awesome too). I know it hasn't caused quite the stir as the Nuance, but after watching it and flying it and seeing others fly it, I genuinely believe the Prolog is every bit as good as the Nuance and $200 cheaper to boot! It just needs a little more love from everyone :) In the meantime I'll work on finding a couple more pictures.

I Got my Prolog Finish and already put 6 flights really nice plane no coupling at all the only mix I have is down mix the plane finish weight with TP 4400 is 10 pound 3 Oz with the heavy batt is 10/10 i install wing adjusters to correct aileron trim

thanks, is that from the wing trailing edge or rear canopy? Either way I feel safe being centered on the wing tube which is several mm's in front of your 270.

from the rear lower corner of the canpony forward, 260 like they call for should put you aft of wing tube. At 270 you will be right at back side of tube , I started out at 280 and believe ended up around between 270-275mm, not quite center of tube. Which motor are you using. Like you said at center you'll be safe.

Start in 270 and move to 275 yesterday with Jason also moving the cg forward I will need to take out some of the down line mix :D Also planing to change the landing gear is too seep back and tend to nose over in grass

Guys after thinking about this for a bit I thought the Prolog could use a minor facelift. We tested the new canopy on our Prolog Version 2 today. The new canopy that we got this week from the factory looks and works great. The only difference Brandon and I could tell is the plane rolls even better now. It rolls like the Nuance but has the soild stable feel that I've grown to love on the Prolog.
It'll be a while but we plan on bringing the Prolog V2 to market with a modified paint scheme in the not too distant future.
We are looking into making the canopy's available as a refofit for those who would like to do this upgrade.

I like that canopy on the Prolog and I would go out on a limb and say it will probably fly the "P" program better than before.

That could end up being my plane for the "P" program?

More visable bolder colors, a new sleeker look with the canopy which is also a slight aero improvement and a new further forward UC.
It'll take a bit to get the wheels in motion but it'll be in the works soon enough.
