Default Nemesis EF-1 Kits Back on the Market!!!

I am happy to announce that Red Jensen's Nemesis EF-1 kit will be available again. Red has graciously allowed me to add the Nemesis EF-1 to my growing list of EF-1 kits.

The kit will be very similar to what Red offered. The short kit will include the following:

The kit includes:

• Laser cut balsa & lite ply fuselage and tail assemblies
• Laser cut 1/16" balsa wing skins
• Blue foam cores with wing tube hole cut and servo pockets routed
• ½”dia. x 12" x 0.050" wall Carbon fiber wing tube
• Fiberglass cowl
• Fiberglass wheel pants
• Carbon fiber/Fiberglass canopy
• Laser cut aluminum landing gear

Plans, Illustrated instruction manual, & Nemesis decal artwork will be emailed upon kit order.

Introductory short kit price will be $135

I will as I do on the Wagner Solution offer pre-sheeted wings upon request. This will add $60 to the Kit Cost. Wings will have tube reinforcements preinstalled & servo hard points installed as well.

Please let me know who is interested. I have ordered a few sets of laser parts and will be molding parts this week. I plan to be ready to ship soon.

I am selling the kits and take orders via email right now @ [email protected].

This is my paypal as well. Shipping in the US via FedEx Ground is $15.

I have everything but laser parts right now. Should be getting those sometime next week. I hope to start shipping the week after christmas.

Laser parts are in and kits are shipping. Thanks to those who patiently waited for the laser flats to come.

I have been shipping Nemesis Kits for (2) weeks now and so far all has gone well. the sheeted wing option has been the most popular so far.

I am looking forward to seeing some build reports. I will post some process pictures here soon as I am building one myself.

Here are some pictures of Nemesis parts ready to pack. Wing cores have the wing tube hole in as well as the servo pocket routered in as well. The laser cut hard point for the servo hatch is a nice slip fit into it.

I have attached some pictures of the wing sheeting process. The included laser cut sheeting makes this a breeze. Prep required is 3/4" masking tape joining the skins, installing the wing tube support rib, gluing hard point to center skin, and then skinning the wing with epoxy. I choose to vacuum bag to set, but it can be placed in the shucks and weighted down as well. Wings have come out quite stiff with the addition of some 2oz fiberglass in the TE. I put 2oz glass over the area of wing tube and tube support rib.

When the wing is cured and trimmed up, the servo wire holes are put in using a 5/16" brass tube sharpened on the inside. The servo is mounted to the 1/16" laser cut plywood servo cover. The servo cover is bolted to the hardpoint with (4) wood screws. A very clean and robust installation.

I will post more pictures of my Nemesis build as I complete it.

Thanks to all who have purchased this run on Nemesis EF-1 Kits. Red has a great design and I have been very lucky to have it in my kit line. The first run of Nemesis are sold out. I will be re-ordering for another run. I look forward to seeing all the finished Nemesis EF-1's out there.

Thanks and I look forward to seeing you all at the races.
