From: Vancouver, NF,
Does anyone know the difference between a Feda and a Thunderbird Concept II?
They have the same rotor lenght, but the Thunderbird has a longer tail boom, and runs off 9.6 volts. Everything else looks pretty close from the photos I've seen.
Anyone have experience with the Thunderbird?
Thanks

Yeah I'm looking for the same information...
But I believe I am going to buy the Thunderbird anyway...
8cell 9.6volt with a 360 motor...
Sounds like a winning combo to me...
Colco in China, the makers of the Thunderbird, told me that this combo
puts the flight time between 15-25min per charge...
Now that is pulling me towards the Thunderbird all the way...
Good luck getting info from AnyOne... no one likes to talk about
these things...

From: Vancouver, NF,
I'm still on the fence but, leaning towards the Feda myself, since it comes with the NiMH batteries and parts compatibility with the Hummingbird. I just wondering about parts compatibility with the Thunderbird as the pictures look very very similiar.
As for the 9.6 volt system, they're NiCad, so you would have to switch to get a lowerer weight.
It would be interesting to find out how compatible the two are.
Anyone have more insight into this?

From: Balikpapan,
I bought this stupid heli few months ago.
It could not even lift off the ground. The transmitter has only 4 channels instead of 6. Terible and awful heli.
Don't ever think of flying it for 25 minutes per charge. You'll be dissapointed.
Hadi.
