Default Part identification help (Pic inside)

Sorry I am new the Helis, but I am just wonder what this part does? Its the plastic part that goes between the main boom and support bar for the rear. I have acquired a used Dragonfly and it doesn't have this part. It has the vertical bar but not the plastic part you see with the color decal on it. I was wonder if it’s important or not. I have attached a pic, the area that is in red is what I am questioning. Thanks!

Default RE: Part identification help (Pic inside)

the plastic part is not as important as the carbon rod that goes behind it to keep from braking tail rotors
