Default Corona throttle control problem

When throttling up on the transmitter, it immediately hits full speed without any speed control. This may be a problem with my component but I'm not completely sure.

Here's what I have
LMH Corona 120, Hacker brushless motor C40-12T and Hacker controller Master 48-3P opto, Berg 5*DSP receiver, Hitec Eclipse 7 tx (both operating on channel 41).

First question. Helihobby sent me the wrong controller rated for this Hacker Motor. The one I have runs at 48 amps. I should have received the Master 40-3P (with only 40 amps). Is this my problem?

Second queston. Do I need to further adjust the throttle curve. I've been working with that and have tried several different curve settings. It seems that lowering the throttle curve only causes the motor to initiate later in the movement of the throttle control but it still immediately revs to full speed.

I currently have the throttle curve at normal setting set to 0%, 30%, 50%, 70%, 100%.

What am I missing or is this controller not ever going to work with this motor (I'm trying to get helihobby to send the correct controller)

Thanks...
