New Feda Dragonfly flier...too fun
Hi everyone...I just got a Feda Dragonfly off eBay, and it is too cool. I have zero experience with Heli's, but have many years exp with sailplanes, and other cool stuff...
I am suprised at how tough they are to fly...but not too tough,lol..
Im sure ill have some questions as time goes on..this forum is very helpful

IM thinking of getting one myself real soon.I myself have no heli experince.really how hard are these to fly. I was thinking of getting the one from www.microrcs.com tell me what you think of the package. im not to sure of the radio thanks. talk to you later

If you can hold for a little longer, you can get new GWS Dragonfly 2004 model.
This 2004 model has few better components when compare to current model.

I checked out that site looks and sounds good,but they dont say when its gonna hit the market. i hope real soon. If you here anything let me know. The hummingbird also has a new model coming out in april. thanks

The Dragonfly 2004 is something like u get Dragonfly 2003, replace the main motor to EM300, tail motor to CN12-RXC with direct drive configuration, replace the center hub to be aluminium (just like having an aluminium head stiffener) and add ring weight in the paddle bars.
So... it is like what some of us do with their DF.
If you get Hummingbird with CP (April 2004), u get collective pitch. I think it is like u get DFly 2003 or Hummingbird VII and replace the head to Hornet CP upgrade unit.
