In the hands of a competent flyer, sure!
I bet I'd have just as much problems hovering that Pic as I have with my 'hawk!
Isn't it 20% bird, 80% pilot? As for the variable pitch part of that 20%, converting a 'Hawk to CP should be about the same complexity as converting a Fun Pic to CPhttp://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_1405280/mpage_1/key_aerohawk%252Ctail/anchor/tm.htm#1405280 ... both have 3mm main shafts.

I don't think a stock Aerohawk can do the tour. Neither can a stock Piccolo. You need a headholder, or at least a decent gyro to feel safe in that corridor.
If you are a newbie, then fly Aerohawk. It's tough and very cheap to crash with. From what I have read, the Piccolo is far more fragile. But when you become good, you may not need a more expensive heli. Your Aerohawk flies better and more stable the more you've learned the tricks to fine tune its setup and control its behaviour. At least I'm seeing a super heli in mine without any of the usual upgrades.

In order to go inverted the heli does not change the blade rotation at all.
It just changes the blade pitch... that's it... of course its easier said than done...
