Well, helicopters are weird, and the aerohawk is kinda like flying a wounded moth.......LOL Some in here think not, but anyway I fly my MS hornet pretty well and sometimes feel like I'm learning all over again when I fly the aerohawk! Anyway, If a helicopter drifts in any particular direction, usually you put the trim of that control in the opposite direction in small increaments till its flying fairly level. For Example; if the heli is drifting to the left, then the lower trim on the right side of your controller should be clicked 2 or 3 notches to the right! and if the heli's rear is lifting because the heli wants to go forward, then click the trim lever on the far right back or down 2 or 3 clicks. Look at my aerohawk, It hovers perfectly in one spot with the rotor disk perfectly level, but yet the whole helicopter when veiwed from the rear at an altitude of 3-4 feet you can see the whole fuselage is tilted or cocked to the right! Go Figure

i have a hummingbird, but it drifts in the same direction. i reccomend against using the trims too much, i find that it works best just to use the stick, as it levels out once in the air
move the right stick right and back to limit its movement untill you get up

Being such a experienced pilot mr fish you should know drifitng is unavoidable in normal heli setups, heli will always experience some drift oposit the direction the tail goes. Complete stable in the dime hower wil demand some input from pilot, even under calm conditions as any helis is negative stabile. Mad taffy: it sounds like you havnt yet gotten out of those vindy ground conditions, at ground zero a stable hower is near impossible due to the turbulent wind blowing back up from the ground, specially if you are inside in a small room, once you get 1-2 meters in the air things will smooth out. Dont listen to Fishy here, I have plenty stable howers with my Aerohawk but you wont experience them for a loong time yet, important though in the start is to tighten up your blades good, you will be knocking about and crashing so much that trying to make blades balance and track perfectly is just wasted,, so tighten em up good to awoid wobbles.

i have found if u kinda get it light and hop it in the air and get it out of groud affect it is alot easer.
u will find ypur self trimming it to not drift on the ground but when it get in the air u find your self re trimming it to fly level.
hope this helps.
