aerohawk tail problem

hi to all.
i try to take off my aerohawk but...
...speed mixer led doesn't light on...
main rotor turn correctly, servo works well but tail rotor doesn't turn...
and the light stay off...
i check immediatly tail rotor engine and cable, and they work if i try to control with power source...
i think my gyro have a problem...
what can i do?

Maybe you can contact whoever you bought it from and ask for a replacement, otherwise you could buy a new board or use seperate components.

Yeah, sounds like your board is busted.
I saw a hack somewhere on this board... Someone posted a reply saying that a defective gyro can causes these problems and that if you peel the silver 'seal' off the gyro and GENTLY push the center part towards the back plate you can revive it. Search the board for Aerohawk and Mixer and you shold find teh post.
You have my sympathy as I got a new Aerohawk just a few weeks back and my board has played up from the start - I've had to send back to the retailer in Hong Kong, so hopefully I will get a replacement but I guess it will take some weeks.
If this does not work out the I'm going to chase up a 3 in 1 piccoboard probably. The suggestion is that these should work and they seem to be more reliable.

ok, thanks to all.
today i come to my store to search a new speedmixer... but first i try to repair this one...
also i buyed from rcmart, he tell me if i want to send back... but i think is so expensive another internatonal shipment... with 50$ i think to buy new speedmixer...

[&o] Sorry to hear that. My new board was doing this also... it would work occasionally. Of course I never pulled the gyro cover - sent it back to the supplier.
