who makes the best electric rtf
I'm thinking strongly of buying an electric rtf heli. I've read good and bad about all of them. I'd like to see what you all think.

RE: who makes the best electric rtf
I just recomend what I have flown. I have never flown a zoom but I hear they are awsome. I dont like to say anything about things I have no idea about so i leave that for those that Have them. I have flown an aerohawk also but I preferr a hb or clone over the aerohak head.
Hopefully my swashplates will be here today.

The piccolo is good. Most of the current crop of micro heli's are flyable, but most require the setup to be perfect if you are using stock componnents.
What are your your goals? Indoor flight? Outdoor flight?
What is your RC experience?

RE: who makes the best electric rtf
I was curious about the piccolo only because it's available in my area. If I don't hear much good news about the pico, I'm not gonna get one. Looks like I'll probably have to order one. I'm hoping to get into a heli for around $400, and I am hoping to use nothing but stock right out of the RTF box. With that in mind, do you have any preferences? I've flown 2 and 3 channel park flyers. Oh yeah, I have an airhog heli, but I don't think that counts for much. Ha! However, it did make me want to get a good one. I mainly will fly indoors and some outside when the wind is calm. So I'm looking for suggestions for the best bang for the buck. Stability and flight time is of course important too.

My new favourite beginners heli is the Aerohawk. It will fly out of the box if you take the head apart and loosen up the joints a bit.
It has fewer moving parts in the head, and this is why I like it more than the hummingbird for beginners. Less parts to break, and the parts are very cheap.
The piccolo is an old design and could use an update.
Check around, I think the Aerohawk is also one of the less expensive options too.
Hobby lobby has it ready to fly with radio and all for $239 I am sure you can find better prices too if you look around.
