I'v been trying to learn basic hover in RealFlight G2 for over 2 weeks average 2 hrs every night. So far I'm not getting any where. The virtual instruction in the software show very little on the right stick movements to keep heli hover in one spot. But everytime I try, it just move all over the place. I know heli is diffecult to learn but Am I missing something or doing something wrong?
Thanks,
James

The only advise I can give is keep at it and it will just come to you. Make sure you practise hovering with the tail toward you and try not to overcorrect the heli. Small stick movements is the key.
Good luck, you will get it.

hi,
Like Raydee said "small stick movements is the key".
Make sure there is no "wind" on the sim too.
I do not know Realflight, but try another heli, one might be more forgiving than another.
And alot easier to get to know the controls.
I have tried FMS Sim( the free one), and that one has 3 or 4 different helis. I have noticed
one of the helis is a real bear to handle if trying to learn to hover. And others practically float
around without much correction.
Keep at it, dont give up. The feeling of accomplishment when you can hover is the best.
small stick movements, no wind, try another heli, DONT GIVE UP.
hope this helps....Bill
