Default Jabo 2 and simulator with Silver Zhen Hua

Hi, I have searched and I cannot find anything related to this control.

I have a Jabo 2 with the silver Zhen Hua PCM-4ch controller. I am trying to get it to work with FMS, I have tried it on both my XP and ME machines and have had no luck. I tried the PPJoy on my xp machine, but it gets as far as reading, with a funny beeping noise, so I cannot use it on FMS.

On ME, PPJoy does not even find the control.

Also, does the transmitter need to be on, or can it be off whilst doing this.

I hope you can help me out,

Josh

Before you ask, I searched through the forum, and found the topic about the zenhua, but it is about the black control on the Jabo, not silver on the Jabo II.

Also, at first I got it working with Tru-Flite 3D, but then I used the control pon the helicopter, and I have now tried it again on Tru-Flite, it says "No Transmitter can be found" and it terminates.

The transmitter doesn't need to be on while running FMS.

i tried that and no luck. Maybe thats for the old style black zhen hua control. I actually got mine from china, so it is the newest zhen hua control. The wierd thing is that the transmitter works fine with Tru-Flite 3D which is a simulator, but it does not work with FMS.

I hope you can help, and I am sorry if I reply late, as I am in spain, and can only get on the web when I visit the internet cafe.

Thanks
Josh

I got it all working here... I have the silver control. Also though I do think True-Flight 3d is very crappy. It works fine. We're using Xp Pro. If you are going to use FMS download FMS 2.0 Beta 7 not the newest. You also have to setup PPJOY for FMS it work correctly.

I am having the same problem with my silver transmitter and PPjoy and FMS.

I have followed through the instructions on the link above, but i am not getting any beeps in PPjoy and there is no response to the transmitter in the calibration section of FMS.
The transmitter is switched on.

I had the same problem, the connector on the back of the transmitter was the problem, i got a new one from Maplin for 99p and soldered it in, now its fine.
