Hi you guys!
I have a problem with my Smartech Aerohawk...
The tailrotor doesn't seem to be turning when i control it - it does however turn if i hold the helicopter in the main rotor and start it (then the whole body turns, and the tailrotor starts to spin out of control).
This proves that the motor works fine, but there's no contact to it.
Do any of you know this problem, and how it's solved? I miss my chopper...
Thanx!

I've now tried to check all the wiring on the board, and everything seems to be in order...
I've tried to turn the two screws on the PCB to see if that changed anything - and it didn't :-(
The motor seems to be working (since it turns if I hold the chopper in the main rotor and give it power - then the body turns, and the rear-rotor spins out of control).
Do you have any other ideas of what it could be?

What caused this problem??
gyro is probably out.
The 'screws' you talk about are the tail and the gyro mixing pots.
With the cables in your right hand, the gyro pot is on the left and the tail pot is on the right.
There are some images and similar discussion over at a thread titled: 'Need help w/ Aerohawk board. '
I am searching for a good source for Ceramic Gyros, I'll let you know if I find it.
