That link doesn't work for me. Is their site down?
I got the Shogun and like it (working on a review, should be done by the end of the week) and wanted to compare it to the Trex side by side.

RE: what size heli
Why not go with the Shogun? The Shogun is the best electric heli in it's class. The Shogun is still considered a micro heli though. But you won't be disappointed after buying it. What I like about it most compared to other micro helis is that breezes don't seem to have much of an affect on the Shogun, unlike some others. And the other thing I like about it is, you have the opportunity to go brushless...
You have answered your question....Shogun it is!

RE: what size heli
here is why:
shogun is more expensive
shogun parts are more expensive
bottom line they both good, both brushless.
go with your heart.
what is the best you ask ? those who like trex will tell you trex and those who like zoom will tell you zoom
here are some pics of trex. (the bigger heli is .50 nitro just to compare sizes) [8D]

Compare parts prices and the T rex wins, compare manufacture support and the T rex wins, compare flight ability out of the box and the T rex wins, compare price and the rex wins, compare crash survivability and the rex wins.
The T-rex is basically a scaled down copy of one of the most succesful helis ever made~ the Raptor.
the T rex comes with 3 sets of blades too, for $40 less than the shogun.
Should be an easy descision, unless your looking for all out mad dog 3D performance, the zoom will do better because its lighter. the Rex wins across the rest of the board.
the zoom/shogun comes preassembled, when you crash you have to figure out how to get it apart to replace parts, you put the rex together, and its an easy and fun build.

RE: what size heli
I got a shogun, its a cool little hotrod once you figure it out a little. No one nearby me stocks trex parts or the trex itself yet, once they do I'll buy it and have both. If your lhs sells one or the other buy it. Once you get a little wrapped up in these little badboys you'll want both too.
