Has anyone used a computer simulator program that is really close to mimicing the way that micro electric helis fly? I'm looking to learn how to fly to some degree before I go out and try my new fixed pitch Honey Bee. I'm an old hand at airplanes and boats, but helis are very different. More than 20 seconds of crashless flying would be good.
Thanks! Will

The free ones (FMS) are not realistic, but will give you good orientation practice. It is fun to do stuff you wouldn't dare with your pride and joy. I reckon the finger skills are best learned on a real heli. Fly, crash, learn. At least with a FP you will be flying with minimal damage and cost. It's not THAT hard!
