Default Thottle hold question for hornet II

I have set up my thottle hold and when i go to add a little pitch the motor bogs down....
specs:hornet II
phoenix 10
eflight brushless 370 /5400
kokam 1500 11.1
..
i tried to change it so i can't add alot of pitch and the motor is still bogging down...
it hovers just fine in normal mode....
can someone help me..

Check for tight linkages if it is a mechanical issue causing the bog... if it is all smooth, then maybe the battery is getting old and can't handle the current spike or maybe the motor... the current spike being from the ESC trying to keep the RPM's constant... I know that on my Piccolo pro, (which has a different pitch setup) I have to tone down the servo travel to keep mine from binding which keeps the motor from bogging....
