Default help with sim

i got a shogun but im a little scared to fly it more then 2 feet off the ground. i need some simulator time but my computor wont handle the programs. any suggestions? is there anybody in the detroitish area who would let me "rent" some time on theres? or is there a sim that has great mechanics without all the bogging down graphics? i have been hitting the LHS's but i think there getting sick of me hanging around on there sim!!

any suggestions would be great!!

FMS does run on older computers, and is free. It is not nearly as nice ans any of the newer generation sims, but it would sork for teaching your brain.

Actually, I do have a Futaba plug for FMS, that I am trying to sell with my old Futaba transmitter. OK, I want to sell the transmitter, and the FMS cable is a freebie with the purchase. :-D I took it to a swap meet and no-one would give me $40 for it. Have to drop the price for the next one.

I'm using FMS and the default screen resolution (whatever it is) has a screen update of about 3 frames/second! WAY too slow! But if I select "800X600" in the "Resolution" menu it's more like 35 FPS which is fine.

Can't see how to make the 800 X 600 the default, though.

Anyone?
