honeybee bat problem

Any body have any trouble with honeybee cp l ion charger. Not sure it worked on the first charge, not on the second that is no green light indicating a battery present. Do these have an inherant problem either battery or charger..The Battery is a 3 cell 1000/11 volts.

i had the same problem. me and my brother each got a honneybee, and one of the batteries was bad. both chargers charged one battery but not the other.
we sent the bad battery back to the guy we bought them from. he said he would take care of it.

Check the voltage of the pack with a multimeter. If the battery is below 9V the stock charger won't charge the battery. I found a trick around it though, but be careful and only try this if your battery is very close to 9V. I made 2 short pieces of wire hooked them up to the battery and to the charger's power supply (basically bypassing the "brains" of the charger. After only about 30 seconds the voltage of my battery jumped at least a whole volt, which then let me safely charge it with charger hooked up properly.
