I just had my first whack. Bent the tail boom. Off to the hobby shop for parts. Any tips on reassembly of the boom and belt? What controls the tension on the belt? I think it is how far you slide the boom into the body.

sorry to hear that, ive heard if you can insert a "just smaller size diameter" piesce of like Blasa Wood Dowl rod, and that will give it added stregth, o course. usually only for those of us with a tail landing problem..

for tail booms, not much you can do but that must have been quite a wack! I haven't bent mine even though I knifed the ground at 10 feet. that aside belt tension is controled by how far out the tail boom is, just loosen the screws that hold the boom in place and pull it out to tighten and in to loosen.

Stay away from these people! They don't refund your money if it's out of stock! I waited over a month now and still no tracking numbers, no nothing! Fed up with them jerks! Stay away

I ordered from them. Fast shipment and order was correct. Customer service was great. I sent several emails and replies were sent back in minutes. X 400 heli was great until yesterday. Motor went out during fast forward flight about 50 feet high. Amazingly heli sustained very little damage. Anyway, IF I buy from them again, I won't buy ANY of their electronics.[sm=tired.gif]

and i'll bet i can go there and find soemthing wrong, in a minute. The point is, "What is the point."? Weigh the variants,
take a HUGE corporation, like ebay, do you think seom are swearing up and down there the Best thing to hit the Internet??
(probably those who made good sales, or when someone got a Single* good buy and was excited.), but, i would gather there are just as many, in some peoples view, that think it is the plague of the internet and should be shut down.. hmm, how could that be?

I have nothing but good experiences with this company. They rapidly sent a missing part, and were quick to act on a warranty issue. They are not a manufacturer and shouldn't be blamed for quality issues.

yeah, i bought an x400 from them 12 months ago, have never got it of the ground since..
A tip, always assemble it yourself! Mine was so poorly assembled by rc-expert that it broke up into peices on the first attempt at flight.
The servos are complete junk, everything else seemed ok

They gave me great service when I purchased my Trex 450 XL RTF, recently. It was supposed to come with a few advertised bonuses, but were not included in the original shipment. I contacted RC-Expert via email and had a response in less than 12 hours. I was told that it was an oversight and the bonus items would be shipped pronto. Sure enough, they showed up within 5 or 6 days (I forget). And I'm sure it wasn't cheap for the additional shipping from Hong Kong.

I saw a trex 450 se kit on e bay with motor, esc, gyro, servos and two batteries(18oomah 12c and 2200mah 18c), 3 cell smart charger and a few other extras like carbon blades. I e-mailed them and offered them $70 usd less for the package with out the gyro(i traded my cp for a gy401).

Now here's where i'm scared. He wouldnt let me buy it through e-bay, i had to pay him directly through paypay.

On their behalf Rc expert has shipped it and provided a tracking # very quickly. Im just waiting to get it.

RC-Expert [:@][:'(][&:] Dont support a company that steal the hard work of other companies. All their fusleages they have stolen from other companies. They have stolen all of century helicopter micro heli bodies and a bunch of others by pouring resin casts of the bodies and are now producing them(or buying from someone who is doing it). Also alot of their upgrades are in question as being copies from others also.

I finally got my RC-Expert 450 se flying right however it took 3months to work all the bugs out. The Airtronics radio does not have a heading off/on switch. Therefore the gyro stays on and the tail gets wild until you set the ch5 low. Now that this is done I need a new battrey. I think these folks provide a service at the lowest cost to people like me that are not able or to lazy to build my own heli.

I have had similar bad experiance with them. I got a Aplus 400v2 on Ebay with Buy now. was supposed to ship in 3 days.
2 weeks past with lame excuse about having assembly problems. I was under the Impression that they had the kit ready to go!
Seems like they don't get anything until they have your money.
The Email was 2-3 days behind my questions most often they answered 1/2 of one question and did not respond to the others.
English was real poor.

Last order with Rc-expert the parts that were shown as in stock ...Paid for them and then was informed that they would not have them for 2 months .
On the status of my order on their web site said ( success ) I told them this added insult to injury as the only success was they had my money and I had nothing.
If you do order from them make sure to inquire that they do have the parts in stock and ready to ship before you send the money!
Rc-expert said they could not get the parts for 2 months i wrote Eddie wu and he sent all the parts on my list the same week.[&o][:'(]
