Default 2-Ch dragonfly

This looks like a very cute 2 Ch dragonfly heli. Has anyone tried it yet?

Yes I have. Got it a few days ago and I say not bad for around $50. So here is it.

Main blade 19 1/4 inch
length 17 1/2 inch
Control 2 channel
7.2 V 650 mah nimh bat. good for flying 4 to 7 min inc. 3 or 4 liftoffs and landings
370 brushed motor
comes RTF Only need 8 AA bat for Tx.
One channel control speed of main rotor other speed of tail rotor

Cannot fly backward, forward RT or LT.

Left stick controls main rotor speed in three steps. Step 1 main rotor spins at certain speed. Rt stick is does not work at this level. Step 2 main rotor speeds up rt stick operates heli lift offs. Step 3 if you really want to go high.
RT stick has basically two steps and neutral turn to right and tail rotor stops tail goes to the rt turn to left tail rotor speeds up tail goes to the left. YES IT WAS OPPOSITE to what it is supposed to be. Had to take apart the Tx and rewire to make it correct.
A trim pot has to be adjusted on the Rx so when you lift of to make the tail stable.
Plastic blades are great Specially the leading edge has some real soft plastic no danger there. kids love it crashed it many times. the tail boom broke of from the main body glued ( actually use palstiweld ) it back to gather. Fly good so far.Ordered a 7.4v 1100 mah li-po. Like to have it for more time in the air.

ONLY flies UP AND DOWN.

If you could modify the tail to use a belt drive you might be able to use a simple actuator to give fwd back, or left right
