Default Which TX - Hitec eclipse 7 (synth) or JR 6102?

Hi all , i'm trying to decide which of the above TX's i should get for my T-rex (CDE), does the 6102 have 120 degree ccpm 'mode'.
Anyway my question is this. Can you please post your opinions on these two TX's and if possible the pros and cons of each(BTW i know one is a 6 and the other is a 7ch) thanks ICE

Never liked JR TX's, I love my eclipse 7 though. Best money i've ever spent, especially if you get it with the synth module.
Being able to switch frequency AND shift on the fly is so convenient it's sickening.

The only thing I've found so far about it that's limited me in any way is the lack of proper 90 degree eCCPM support, which is actually no big deal since theres barely any helis out there that use that, except for the one I happen to have.. [:-]

I'm all for the eclipse 7. I just don't think you can beat it for it's price vs function range. However, since i've never used the newer JR TX's, I can't make an accurate comparison. So be warned about my bigoted one sided view.

Hey! thanks for that reply..... to be honest i was already leaning towards the Eclipse but wanted to hear other opinions as i've never looked at, let alone used, a JR TX (i do own a Hitec Laser 4 - using it for my 'AS365 Dauphin micro (Modified hummingbird V3).
Anyway, thanks again for giving me that extra 'nuge' in the right direction......Ice

Just to throw another radio in the mix: What about the Optic 6 w/synth. module. About $50 cheaper than the eclipse with most of the same features and even a few extras that the Eclipse does'nt have. Now, I am only going on what I've read but that's another one to consider.

I also looked at the optic 6 but didn't hear very good things about it, i even found an article entitled "Optic 6, prepare to crash!"[X(](something about a glitch?)- no personal experience though.
Also its an UgLy looking thing! lol
anyway, thanks again...Ice

I have the JR 6102, I use it with my Eco-8.

Nice radio, lots of features, even some that I will probably never use. The thing I like the most is the graph that shows what position all the servo's are in, really helped me get it set up right when I was having servo travel problems.

It's not synthesized, nor is synth and option/upgrade, but that didn't really concern me because I never change channels as I fly alone.
