I was at the LHS yesterday getting a battery for my Century Hummingbird and saw they had the MX-400 in stock. Took a look at it and decided to purchase it as my second helicopter. I have not yet, but will soon.
I have these items on hand:
AXI 2212/26 brushless outrunner
Hitec HS 60 servos
E-flight Sensorless 20 amp ESC
Electrify 1320 MAH 11.1 volt lipo
Hitec receiver Micro 6 channel
Would these be sufficient for the heli max mx-400. And what Gyro is everyone using.
Thankyou.

1) i think that AXI motor is suitable for a hornet or maxir. the MX400 (x400) needs something that will fit in a Trex
2) HS60 servos??? i never heard of those. 4 qty HS56 will work very well
3) 20amp is too low for the x400 unless you get a frugle amp draw motor like the Neu 1105/3y i wouldnt use it. you should use a 25amp absolute minimum even that could be risky if you use a powerful motor.
4) 1350mAH is small for the x400. although i bet it is capable of lifting off the heli i dont think it should be used. x400 like the trex, use 1800-2200mAH lipos.
5) any 6ch Rx works.
i HIGHLY recommend the futaba GY240 or GY401. probably the 401 as it's just easier to adjust and doesnt cost much more. once you have a gyro like this you probably wont go back to anything else.

Thanks for the reply, made two mistakes on my post. Hitec HS 65 servos and 1500 MAH 3 cell. Either way, probably too small of equipment from your specs anyhow.
Just had my hummingbird out 5 minutes ago and made my first 360 circles back and forth down the street to get out of the hovering phase. Did it for about 5 minutes until I dumped it in the gutter,
Back to the parts ordering stage again. I think it will be a long time for me to get a different helicopter anyway.
"P" Factor was at a high level
Thanks again, Jeff
