I recently bought the Walkera Dragonfly #4 as a cheap way to get into the hobby. I had it on the kitchen tile floor and when I increase the throttle is slides to the left. Why does it do this? Then when I get it a foot in the air it travels to the right. I have been practicing on the clearview simulator but that simulator does not do this. Actually it seems fairly easy to take off and land helicopters. I was thinking about getting the Reflex XTR. Their web site shows a Walkera 34/35 connector. Does anybody know if this will work with my 4 channel #4 dragonfly helicopter? Thanks for any help.

that is normal due to the torque if the rotor...
pretty much all heli's do that, you just need to correct it while taking off....
heli's require constant correction...

I have Reflex and it behaves very similar to my micros. I have a Blade and Trex. I have not bothered loading custom models in the simulator, the supplied model Mikado Logo behaves very close to my Trex. Changing some of the parameters made it very uselful. I crashed the same way with the simulator as I did with the micros while learning, so it worked for me.

I would read the Walkera Dragonfly fixed pitch forum
http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_28...tm.htm#2833333
Also I would get a Sim. Besides that I cannot help as I do not have much experience. I am still waiting for a part to get mine back in the air. Good luck
