O.K. newbie to the RC Copter world. Opened our Blade CX on X-Mas, charged it up and few (low hover) a few times. Later in the day we were flying it and the blade hit my hand due to pilot error. After that the rotors won't turn at all. Recharged the battery, no luck. The tilt/pivot rotor control works but no spin on the blades. Help!

When it hit your hand, did it crash with the throttle still up? The 4in1 on the BCX will burn up (the speed controllers in this case) fairly quick if you are not careful. I would call horizon and ask them for some support.

Yes it hit my hand with the throttle up (not full). How much to fix? This was an X-mas gift for my son (and me). We had been enjoying the time together with this project.

Again, call horizon as they will be better fit to help you out. But if it is the 4in1, then I think (I just ordered one myself) its around $45.00 to replace.

Do you know how to replace the inner shaft? The "stabilizer flybar" broke on mine. I've ordered another one HB. Can you give me a step by step instruction on how to replace it. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Remove the body shell ( it slides off after removing the front and pulling off the landing skids the inner shaft is quite easy to remove
loosten the 2 small phillps head screws on the gear collar and pull the inner shaft out from the top use a good 00 size phillips screw driver
like a WiHa (german good tip most hobby shops carry them) to avoid bugging the screw heads I think the size is either 2 or 2.5mm
I plan on replacing them with hex head allen screws there will be an aluminum head upgrade for this quite shortly. One stunt is to wrap
thread around the piece that goes over the shaft and use a few drops of CA on it this makes it a little less likely to break BE CAREFUL do not get any CA in the flybar pivot or anywheres else martin

Thanks for all the responses! I've spoken with the mfg and they are of the opinion that the 4 in 1 is gone. When I hook in the battery the light is green (in the cockpit) and when I throttle to about 1/2 way it turns red.
Ordered another, hope that is it! Any suggestions/advice is welcome. THNX to all.
