RE: Night Ranger 3D Gallery
Glad to hear from ya, hope your doing well.
you know that the walkera 22E's are the same thing and they sell them for 100 now. thats why I can't really get it from you.
Both my NR3D and walkera 22e are running good. I finally got a brushless motor that works in my NR3D.
I was having lift problems with the walkera 22E. But the carbon blades I put on made it go up. I think its probably just the motor starting to die.
Funny yours has sorta the same issue, wont go up.
I would keep trying to sell it on Ebay, id like to see you get a good price for it.
I'll ask around and see if I can find anybody, what price are you trying for now?

Where is everyone that owns a NR3D?
I have a 22E and a NR3 just to see if they were the same.
Guess what I found out!

RE: Night Ranger 3D Gallery
Basicaly I just spent a little bit more money for a green helicopter! LOL.
I don't know at first I thought it handled slightly different, in a good way like I could control the nose direction better. It could just be that the larger canopy with it being green made an easier sight?
Like the set up though. Good tail control. Never burnt any motors on it and have 40 some flights. stock motor and battery.
Whats your findings?

RE: Night Ranger 3D Gallery
They look the same to me but color, I use 22E parts to fix it usually because they are cheaper. I do like the colors better but those were expensive colors. They fly the same because they are the same mechanically and the parts are 100% interchangeable. I bought the NR3D first and then tried the 22E. I was kinda pissed I spent so much extra for the NR3D but I'm over it.

RE: Night Ranger 3D Gallery
Hi guys,
I bought the NR3D months ago, but stopped trying to fly it because It was way too touchy to the control inputs and the nose was allways trying to drift. I tried the trims without any luck.
How can i tame the imputs on this little thing.

RE: Night Ranger 3D Gallery
I have a NR3D that a friend asked me to set up for him... not familiar with motor driven tails... this birds tail rotor spins counter clockwise ONLY (when looked at from the side, nose pointing to the right) When I move the TX input to the right the tail rotor spins and pushes the tail to the left... (Nose right) so that is fine, but when i move the TX input to the left the motor stops dead.... the problem is that the rotation of the main blades seems to cause the tail to want to move to the left (when looking tail in) and with the tail rotor also pushing the tail left there is no way to correct or hold the tail in place...
My questions are, is this normal of this motor or is something backwards????? should the tail motor spin clockwise or counter clockwise (when viewed from the side, nose to the right)???? Should the tail motor spin in both directions???? Again, I'm not familiar with motor driven tails, but it would seem to me that the tail motor should spin both directions to offset torque...
Thanks

RE: Night Ranger 3D Gallery
the tail motor only spins to fight the torque and to spin you against the torque. to turn the other way the tail motor stops.
I'm not sure wich way it spins, I am not at home looking at mine.

RE: Night Ranger 3D Thread
Hi All
New member and need a bit of help with my NR3d. I've just bought a new main motor to replace a burnt out original but it all needs soldering up and I've chucked away the original whilst waiting for my replacement.... (I expected it to be ready to install).
If someone can post a close up pic of the main motor ready-soldered or direct me to a diagram or similar I'd be a very happy chappy......
Thanks in anticipation!

Yes that motor has a lot of stuff to solder. I think if you go to the Walkera 22E forum "Lets Talk" you may find the answer quicker. The 22e is the same as the NR3D - all parts interchangeble basically. Sorry I don't have any pictures with me.
