Check out this radio kit.
Has anyone used or heard anything about this radio with 2.4ghz technology. Thinking about upgrading my 6ch dragonfly.

RE: Check out this radio kit.
I'd take a look [link=http://www.grandrc.com/radios__receivers]HERE[/link] before buying, grandRC has EXCELLENT deals on radios, it has a 9ch one for around $200m while that's only 6ch for $220. besides, more channels gives lots of... possibiltys (servocontroled landing gear, camera... ECT)

I'm thinking about getting the same radio for my new x400 heli. I have read a couple of reviews on this radio and they were both very positive.

also might I add with these radios you never have to worry about crystals again, no one coming onto your channel or worrying what channel someone else is. These radios will pick a free channel, these things are awsome when I upgrade this is what im going for!

The 2.4ghz are supposed to be interference and glitch proof.
The 2.4ghz are supposed to be interference and glitch proof.
The fact they have to use 2 receivers to create a redundant source for a reliable connection sort of spells out a problem to me. If they have to use 2 recievers in the first place, it's definately not glitch proof technology, just a minor way of getting around a big obstacle. The transmitter is also only limited to park-flyer range, and can't be used (reliably) on bigger models.
Im not totally sold on the tech yet, but so far the reviews are positive. The transmitter it's self really isn't all that impressive though compared to alot of other ones in the similar price range.
