Default How to attach training gear ???

New Venom Night Ranger 3D and GWS Training Set. How in the heck are you supposed to connect the landing gear ? The 4 little plastic fasteners don't make sense to me, and there were no instructions in the bag. Am I supposed to have wire ties or rubber bands in the bag too ? It just does'nt jive with whats in the bag... All I got was the rods with the balls, the center plastic disc (I figured that out) and the 4 plastic clips that puzzel me. Dennis

Yea, and tell me those 8 holes arn't countersunk for screws, sure look like it to me. I guess I could be wrong. My Night Ranger doesn't have wire going to the runners, it's wide flat plastic, but I guess they may still work. Last nite I gave up and used electrical tape. I got it a foot off the ground just a while ago, and I thought I was going to have to change my shorts !!! I even set it down easy. It sure is hard to keep it in one spot. LOL Not boreing at all.... How are you at flying these things ??? Im only starting my 4th charge, and I never flew a heli before, just fixed wing.

I had to use tape, the frame to the runners is wide, flat, plastic, and the clips wont fit over it like the pic. Now, I have a question.... Even with the battery slid as far forward as it will go, the chopper is still tail heavy. Should I add weight to the nose, or let the trim take care of it ? The manual says nothing beyond moving the battery fore and aft. Dennis

Look at my post "CRASHED HB2 TODAY" and you will see how I have the gear mounted.
I hope this helps!

I fixed the crash damage just now, but this time I attached the training set using small wire ties. Looks alot cleaner than the tape did. I will not crash anymore, I will not crash anymore, I will not crash anymore, I will not crash anymore, I will not crash anymore. I hope that works...
