Alright, now that i've got you in here........

Thats basically what i'm looking for

Thinking of upgrading to a T-rex. Is it better than a shogun?? NOT a heli builder, nor do i want to be. Just looking for something fun and reliable to take to the field and fly around. What is the best RTF package deal around Thats NIB. unfortunetly i have a futaba airplane transmitter, not heli so i'll need the whole deal. Ebay?? internet retailers?? If you are not a heli builder how do you intend to repair it when you crash? Building helis is not hard to do, maybe a bit time consuming but not bad. It is however the best means of knowing how to repair the heli after a crash. IMO, it also will help you fly better since you will far better understand how the heli works.

Anyway just look around. I have seen some RTF packages from readyheli.com that looked pretty good and heard good things about them. Just keep in mind that the more you spend onhelis, typically, the better the heli will be. Such as the 190 gyro will probably work, but it's not heading hold. The 401 gyro will hold the tail dead on for a T-Rex. Cheaper servos may make the heli harder to fly due to less precise centering and a more slop.

whtbronco, to answer your question shortly... i don't intend to crash!!!!!

I fully understand how a heli flys and operates and consider myself an intermediate pilot... and if and when crashes occur, i will know how to repair it, just don't want to build if i don't have to, i'm a field rat, not a builder!

as for the walkera, it's cheap, and cheaper is not always better.

probably isnt going to happen for the price i want as i'll need everything but a battery charger. it's worth looking though. $500 tops.

boostcrzy, what your combo consist of? I'm near you sort of.

i don't intend to crash!!!!!
I sure that everyone else who has a heli at one point didn't intend to crash, but about 99% of us have, no matter big or small. I didn't intend to crash my Blade CX, cuz geez! It's a coaxial and ultra-stable! but yea, **** happens, and I did crash. You should prepare for a crash, and think it's not going to happen.
