See my new heli as shown

I bought this heli from [link=http://www.pinnaclemodel.com]Hong Kong [/link] 2 weeks ago and I love this heli very much! The price is also great, just US$433 with ESC and BL.

I can't wait and have trial flight last Sunday. This heli is really nice and really looks great under daylight.[8D]

I see you mounted your ESC on the right side of the heli. I was thinking of mounting mine right under the frame of the motor. Did you put the RX behind the motor like the book said? Did you have to range check the heli?

Thanks

I put the ESC at right side is to provide more air flow from the rotor to ESC for better cooling. And, I aill avoid to put the ESC right under the frame to avoid damage due to landing on rough surface.

I put the RX at Top-front (On carbon plate), not behind the motor. I did range checked and it is satisfy.

So far so good!

Ivan,im going to get a T-REX from pinnacle..is the 184.00 for the digital servo and 401 gyro worth the money?
What all did you buy for you'res as far as servos, reciever and extras...I want to get everything in one buy so I can get in the air quickly.
Will an airplane 7 channel reciever work in these helis(Futaba FPR 127DF) or do I need some sort of mini reciever?
Thanks!

Make sure the 401 combo is a 9650 servo, most of the time that combo comes with a 9254. I had to buy the gyro and a servo seprately. The 9254 is a standard size/weight servo, don't think you could hang it on the back of a Rexy.

Hi,

The 401 + S9650 worth the money. I have my own FF9 radio already, so I just buy 3 Esky micro servos and S9650 for rudder. All stuff like LiPo, and LiPo charger is up to you. Mine is 11.1V 2200mAH LiPo. Hope this help!

One more, your Futaba FPR 127DF receiver is ok for basic flying but may be too heavy for aerobatic. You may buy the mini one later as upgrade.

The ESC came with the kit need programming by yourself. For example, you have to set brake, driving frequency and soft start and cut off voltage. And of course, the reverse direction of your transmitter and revolution direction of the BL motor. I would suggest you do the setup before you engage the motor into the heli to avoid danger situation.

Hi, I bought the real carbon fiber 325mm blade from [link=http://www.pinnaclemodel.com/index_eproduct_view.php?products_id=400]Pinnacle[/link]. The quality is awesome with the price just US$28.2.
