RE: Nose-in Hover Poll
Lol, futura... Anyway I remember reading a post of someone who said you can turn around and look over your shoulder then the controls are just like they normally would be. Maybe you could start there if you're having trouble??

RE: Nose-in Hover Poll
it was crazy becuase i figured i'd try it in my livingroom. It was a lot harder becuase there was not much room for error so eventually i got the hang of it.... When i got it outside it was a breeze... I must say hovering right side in is more difficult than left side in...

RE: Nose-in Hover Poll
i can do it on G3 without much trouble, and that without a head holding Gyro and a heli that acts like the blade. I am not sure how i am on a real heli, i have never even flown one yet. I hope to buy a blade cp soon though.

Hi

not sure if this is a serious question...but...
nose in is flying a helicopter while the nose is pointed at you... it is quite a bit more challenging than "tail in" hovering... where the tail is towards you......
theoretically it is like flying an airplane towards you...but it is quite a bit more challenging as there are more directions that the heli can travel

RE: Nose-in Hover Poll
For nose in, I'm considering putting the training gear back on my Rex....with 6 foot long rods and softball size wiffle balls.
That oughta do it.

RE: Nose-in Hover Poll
I learned nose-in hover by taking my Blade CP out in a steady 10 mph wind. The wind component held the tail strait, wich allowed me to only concentrate on the right stick. JB

RE: Nose-in Hover Poll
I started nose in hovering right away no problem. But that is with a Blade CX and I have done a little 3D fixed wing flying. I'm still scared to try a Blade CP. I'm an old dog and new tricks come hard (and costly).
