Default ESC switch question.

Ok my ESC comes with 7 wires. 3 thick yellow to the engine (positive, negetive , and ground). 2 thick to the battery(positive, negative) and 2 thin wires to a switch. Ok what does this switch do and can I cut it off? Right now the switch is just in the way.

Thanks, Max

It depends on what type of switch it is. If it is NO, then you can cut it off. If it's NC, you can cut it but you will need to solder the wires together.

It's a good chance that if your brushless ESC came with a switch, the switch will disable the BEC. Alot of ESC's have these (it's easier and cleaner than cutting the signal wire like alot of ESC's tell you to do).
