I have the HBCP2 and these electric choppers are to fragile and to tough to fly, biggest problem is with motors burning out or getting weak and as the battery discharges it acts like a whole different heli minute by minute by loosing lift, tail rotor not holding ect.
Im going to buy the Raptor 50 and have power ALL through the flight!

Yup, all true. Not to mention that filling the fuel tank is faster then waiting for the battery pack to charge. Now, will your S O let you fly indoors on these windy-rainy days?

ITs not my business to say but i would stay away from anything MEgatech, they wont stand behind their products. I know this for a fact as they already got $200 from a dear freind of mine. As far as flyin on rainy days and indooors try a sim lol.. Just my 2 cents.

good luck, just remember, nitro's are large, noisy, messy, large, bigger, larger, giant, oh, and did I mention, large
If you really want a heli that you can't fly in your backyard (if in a neighborhood setting) easily, and is a good deal more dangerous, go ahead and good luck! They will however be much easier to fly (or so I hear) which is always a good trade off.

I think you mean GLOW helicopter. I have a GAS helicopter and it is tough to beat $2.50 a gallon for fuel plus a little bit of 2-stroke oil. I have a duralite batt pack which last for hours. The helicopter can fly 25 minutes on one tank BTW. Basically a weedeater motor.
Gassers are really coming around in performance but, crashing is rather expensive. The 830mm blades on my gasser are $300 although I have never crashed it (knock-knock).
The regular 3D gassers are awesome!

Gas and nitro are nice, but nitro engines make an annoying sound and they also make a mess which constantly needs to be cleaned up after every flight.
Id much rather fly a large electric, sounds cooler and it's cleaner. Too bad they're so damned expensive.

Use camper fuel and synthetic oil and there is no residue or smell. Well it smells like camping when it is running.
But yes, if I could afford it I would have a few Miniature Aircraft ION-X's. $500 for 1 set of batteries gets expensive you you like to fly though.
