I have a futaba 401 gyro on my heli, the head hold seams to only work in one direction I cant figure out what is wrong can any one give me some help

What makes you think it is only working in one direction?
Which heli do you have?

When i turn the tail the tail blades will hold in one direction only like it should do in heading hold , if i turn it the other way it acts like is is in gust standard gyro mode
