Hey John you can use g2 on windows xp I do. And I was going to add instead of ordering the hummingbird from towers, century is closer and you might of gotten it sooner, just a thought. Heli007

Heli007, I was not able to get G2 up and running on my Dell laptop or desktop with XP Pro. Do you have the USB interface, or the old parallel? I have the latter and that may be the problem. Also, the G2 site is gone so I cannot get any updates. [:@]
Century is about a mile from where I work but it is more expensive to get it from them. Tower has no taxes, I get free shipping, I had a $20 discount, I got a spare motor set and heatsinks included -- and it took one day to get here! I did go to Century yesterday as I thought I was missing some parts but they were underneath the packing (and nothing in the documentation to say so. However, we're heading away this weekend so will have to wait 'til next week.
