Weird Blade CP controller issue
#1
Now this is really weird. I was just using Clear View with my stock Blade CP controller and all of a sudden... the controller farted. Hear me out with this. I took it in to the garage and took it apart. I noticed a Vaseline like lubrication on the moving parts in there. This is normal, I'm sure. As I put each screw back, it kept making the sound. Now, I'm here and I just want conformation that this is normal and safe. [:'(]

Go to [link=http://www.rcflightsim.com/]http://www.rcflightsim.com/[/link] to find out.
From their website:
Note: I found that the total price of everything needed to run it is $80. Also, downloading it can quickly turn into a "learning experience". Download the free demo first and try to get that working to make sure your computer can handle it.

From their website:
ClearView is a powerful RC flight simulator for radio controlled planes and helicopters. The program provides a number of flying sites and many remote control models. The helicopter models include 3d Raptors 60 and 90, scale JetRanger, Lama, Apache AH-64 and micro electric like TRex450. The RC planes range from light weight electric "Shockflier", to 100 size 4 stroke aerobatic Pitts Special to turbine driven F15 Eagle and F-16 Fighting Falcon. This is the only high quality RC simulator that supports normal game pad. Advanced RC flyers can use their own radio transmitter with USB adapter.

That's funny.... I didn't know they could do THAT! LOL!A light film of lube on some moving parts is ok.... I wouldn't think it would be that much though. Make sure it doesn't have any burst batteries in it, not sure what the sound could be, unless something is fried. Does it still work as it should?
BTW - got any young kids around? Some, like my son, like to see what they can put in the 'puter. ie: chocolate chip cookie in the CD-ROM drive.... almost a perfect fit. [:'(][:@]

There are no young kids that would come in contact with anything helicopter in this house. There aren't any kids, period. I checked the batteries and there isn't anything wrong with them. My theory is, the controller was lying around, untouched (because I crashed my helicopter, got mad, and stopped doing anything helicopter for a month and a half but now I'm happy the fix was only $20 and very simple to do.
) and the lubrication kind of "settled" so, when I picked it up again, the friction and movement made a bubble that ruptured with great vibration, producing a fart noise.[&:]
P.S. Nothing is fried or frayed or anything like that inside.
