Default Venom Night Ranger II

I have a friend that has a Venom Night Ranger II and he was wandering if its worth buying new parts for it or getting a different elect FP heli. Is the VNR just as good as the other brands of cheap FP electrics? Or should he go for the 85 dollor falcon 40 or HB? Thanks...

Guys , if your new to helis I will tell you the best advice you'll ever get.

By a heli that your local hobby shop supports with lots of parts.

Mainly blades, shafts, spindles and main gears.

You will crash and you will need parts... Waiting a week to get a 5 dollar part sucks!
e Eflite Blades are great and supprted my most shops now... Good cheap heli with U.S. based support... Here is who makes them..

then go with a T-Rex. I wouldn't buy anything with the word "Venom" or "Walkera" in it.

I agree... The Trex will be tougher in any crash..

Little helis bend spindles and shafts like no other...

Trex shafts are at least a lot bigger...

Then look at Helidirect.com.

They are fast and cheap on shipping with great prices on Eflight and Trex parts...

Hope this helps,

Rob

I have one with a brushless motor, new tail motor, fibre glass blades, 1150 mah lipos and it rocks also. Just wish I could fly it as well as the friend that put it together for me.

PRACTICE! It will come to you.

Make a schedule and fly 2-3 packs a day...

I found when I was learning that if I went a day or two not flying, I had to step back a little before I felt comfortable again.

Use RADD's instruction to start over learning nose in and it will eventually click in your brain.

It is like riding a bike.

I don't even really think about it anymore when I spin into nose in, it is just like riding a bike...
