Default Landing Gear

I want to buy a 4ch Heli and I am looking at the E-Sky, however the landing gear looks extremely flimsy. It looks similiar to the landing gear I had on my Smartech aerohawk. After a few crashes the poles kept sliding out of the fueselage as they are only held in with pressure... Does anyone expereince this with the E-Sky or do they recommend a better heli for a beginner? (Not x-rotational though)

4 Ch. Most likely you have some kind of 300 size heli. Get Super-Skids at www.super-skids.com or www.act-labs.com

Don't worry, all smaller helis have this crappy type of stock landing gear.

If you get the super skids, go with Version 3, they are sooo much better. See pic of V2 and V3, V3 is on the right.

yes, the version 2 was bought some time ago, before the version 3 was released. Version 2 is still available at other sites. Just wanted to let you know that 3 was better.
Have fun,
