I found a T-Rex on ebay all ready go.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MakeTrack=true
It's about $750 shipped. Package includes:
T-rex 450SE RTF Package
Comes with -
1. Align 430L 3550Kv Brushless Motor
2. Align BL35G 35A ESC
The price of above from Align is US$540... Now we throw in the remaining electronics for you
3. Telebee RCE500X Gyro (US$70 value)
4. 4 x 9g Servos (US$60 value)
5. 1 X 11.1V 2200mah 18C Lipo (US$65 value)
6. 1 X 11.1V 2200mah 12C Lipo (US$45 value)
7. 1 X 3 Cell Lipo Smart Charger with Cell Balancer (US$25 value)
And MORE!!
8. Futaba E6XH 6CH Transmitter US$200 value
9. Align 6ch Receiver
10. FULL SIZE ALUMINUM Carry Case (US$80 Value)
11. ALL ASSEMBLED and TUNED and TESTED (upto US$100 value)
Total Value = US$1000+ Now Saving for more than US$300!!!
I'm wondering if this is a good deal. I know it shows prices but I'm not sure if they are inflated. Is it better to buy it piece by piece?

You can check on the individual prices. They are inflated a bit on the things I know about. You can get the case anywhere for $62, depending on the batteries brands, the prices given could be low or high, the Futaba radio is $169.00 new. As far as support goes, your LHS will support whatever they carry parts for, they won't give you a warentee repair, but they will get you parts quickly and help you set them up. I purchased a used 450SA from a private seller with a similar setup without the case for $575.00 and it was the SA, not the SE. Even with the inflated prices, $750 for a setup 450SE is not at all bad with what it includes.

well...we don't know the quality of the servos, what brand they are et al
the batteries are some "off" brand that noone knows... what they are rated for and what they deliver are VERY different things
etc. etc.
and when I mean where to go for help.... I mean what if there are parts that are bad out of the box? can you return it? etc. etc.

Thanks guys. I was just wondering if it was an option. The LHS's in my area suck. Their prices are high and they have no idea what customer service means.

Red Flags
1. Prices are inflated
2. Servo, battery and reciever brands are not stated and likely low end junk.
3. Item location is HONG KONG. (Never buy anything on Ebay that is not located in North America (if you live in N.A.) You are asking for problems)
I would not even consider buying that deal. IMO

Those servos are not that great I used them in my Shogun V2 and I was changing servos every week. If you are hovering there fine, but for hard flying I would not recommend them at all.

I buy from HK all the time without any problems whatsoever. You just need to be an educated buyer and know what it is you're getting.

I agree with Credence. Like what problems buying from HK? You just have to be a smart consumer that's all. Not all US dealers are good. All these parts originate from HK and China anyway.

I agree with all of you, on everything.
I was offered a good deal on a trex 450 hde RTF from florastore.com
when I emailed them back with what I wanted with this RTF
I never heard back from them..... But have also bought good helis
and parts from H K after all where do you think they are all made.
Just shop smart and get on the forums and ask questions.
Thats where you learn.........
