HS-85MG servos are rated the same torque as standards, weigh half that of standards and are faster.

Finally found some info!!

Talking to myself again...

after some research on the official site, the mg is for metal gear and weighs more than the std servo's. They are probably just more durable.

Nylon 0.58 oz. 16.6 g.
Metal 0.67 oz. 19 g.

I can see no other difference in performance.
