saw a heli on xheli.com called the Eagle 50. Anyone have any thoughts on it? http://www.xheli.com/6channels.html

It alright compared to my honey bee king 2 It just a cloned version of the Walkera #22e. I think it good for learning. I had mine for about a year and it still flying well.

yeah, just read up on what they have to say about the walkera #22e. Overall it's probably not the best one out there, but yu might get by with it

I'd get a Falcon 40 of a Honeybee fixed pitch heli to learn basic flight orientations on 1st, then save up and get a TREX 450 or a Esky King V2. In fact there is a Falcon 40 thread here in RCU electric helis with some very helpful pilots there to assist.
I speak from hard earned experience I can assure you.
